Show Former Resident Of Altonah Dies At Price Word was received the first of the week of the death of Charles F. Foote, of Price. He died in a Price hospital Saturday, Satur-day, March 28, following a stroke. Mr. Foote was 75 years old and lived in Altonah for many years before moving to Price about 10 years ago. He is survived by three sons, Melvin Foote, Mt. Emmons; Louis Lou-is Foote and Don Foote, Ogden; three daughters, Mrs. Elda Burgess, Bur-gess, Provo; Mrs. Anona Chid-ester, Chid-ester, Price and Mrs. Arthella Dalton, Ogden; two brothers, Warren Foote, Salt Lake City, and Oscar Foote, Castle Dale; three sisters, Mrs. Tenie Bowden, Bow-den, Gusher; Mrs. Francis Jones, Huntington, and Mrs. Edna Jensen, Jen-sen, Manti; 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held in Price Wednesday and graveside services and burial was in Upal-co. Upal-co. Thursday afternoon. Party Honors Dale Carroll Who Leaves For Service Mrs. Lola Jones gave a farewell fare-well party Tuesday night in honor hon-or of Dale Carroll, who left Monday, April 6th to enter the services. The evening was spent in playing cards and a delicious lunch was served to the following: follow-ing: Gardel Powell, of Cedar-view; Cedar-view; Mrs. Mary Carroll and sons, Dale, Jack, Don and Gene: Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Dru Allred and son, Stewart; Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Riley, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel, Preston Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell, Pow-ell, Mrs. George Carrol and son. Jerry, daughter, Laura; Ronald Powell and Lowell Leavitt. Mrs. Clenty Ames and Mrs. Glen Mohlman attended Primary Pri-mary conference in Salt Lake City, Thursday and Friday, and General conference over the weekend. Pfc. Rex Clark, who is in the U.S. Army and stationed at Ft. Ord, Calif., arrived home Monday Mon-day to spent an 8-day furlough with home folks. He reurned to j camp Tuesday, April 7. 1 W. B. Stoddard, of'Leota, was ( a visitor at the Gilbert Beebe j home, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Neldon Oliver, of Price, were visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen several days the latter part of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Young, of Lapoint, moved into' the Ross Iorg house Friday until they can build a new home Vz mile west of Dewey Jessen's. Those from Altonah attending graveside services for Charles F. Foote in Upalco were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen, Mr. and M'-s. Glen Burgess, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe and Mrs. Bennie Mitchell. |
