Show BOYS HAVE EARLY BIRD BREAKFAST AT LAKE The Blazer boys of the Myton ward participated in an Early Bird breakfast hike to Lake Boren Wednesday morning, accompanied by their teacher, Mrs. Lucy Ei wards, Mrs. Celia Richens and Mrs. Georgia Anderson. Each boy-made boy-made his own fire and cooked his own breakfast. They played ball and games after breakfast. Among the group were Lannie Ross, Dar-rell Dar-rell Murray, Burton Johnson, David Dav-id Chandler, Reed Richens, Theodore Theo-dore Rhoades and Michael' Kettle. Mrs. Frank Adams, Mrs. W. R. Harris and Mrs. Alice Brummett attended a pink and blue shower at Altonah, Wednesday afternoon, complimentary to Mrs. Afton Wall, the former Afton Adams. Mrs. Rex Lamb and infant daughter returned home Saturday from the Roosevelt Hospital. Mrs. George Tanner is visiting her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Olsen at Price. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dean are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby daughter, born Saturday at the Roosevelt Hospital. W. E. Burton, who was confined to the Roosevelt Hospital for treatment, was sufficiently im proved to be returned home on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. John Solmonson and family came from SaLt Lake City, Thursday, to spend a few days at their ranch home in Pleasant Pleas-ant Valley, returning to Salt Lake City, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Krause and family arrived last week from Window Rock, Ariz, to visit Mrs. Krause's mother, Mrs. Lydia Peat ross. They found Mrs. Peatross had been ill for several days. Her condition necessitated removal to the Roosevelt Hospital, Sunday. Latest reports are she is gradually gradual-ly improving. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wood-ard Wood-ard and daughters, Betty and La-Rae, La-Rae, left Friday to reside in Provo where they recently purchased a new home. Their host of friends regret their departure. They were widely entertained the week prior to their departure. The young son of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hancock was rushed to the Roosevelt Hospital, Friday, where he mnderwent an appendectomy. appendec-tomy. The young patient js getting get-ting along nicely. Dr. and Mrs. Earl Lewis visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish on Monday, as they were returning to their home in Logan, after a vacation trip to Colorado. |
