Ruby Bashor No. 1 Spudded Aug. 1, 1955. Casing 9 5-8 in. & 154 feet with 160 sacks cement. Drill stem test No. 1, 2310-2337 feet, tool open 4 hours, shut-in 30 minutes, very weak initial blow, dead in 1 hour; recovered 10 feet drilling fluid. Drilling 2645 feet in shale. The Scouting division of Carter Oil Co. has released the following summary of oil well drilling activity acti-vity of the week ending Aug. 17. Minton-State No. 1 (Located NE SE, Sec. 32, 14S, 20E3 Drill stem test No- 1, 4400-4430 feet, tool open 4 hours, shut-in 30 minutes, min-utes, weak initial blow increasing to fair in 10 minutes. Continued fair throughout test; recovered 974 feet of fluid, top 180 feet mud, remainder 794 feet slightly gas-cut gas-cut salt water. Drill stem test No. 2, 5194-5249 feet, tool open 2 hours, shut-in 30 minutes; weak initial blow, dead in 1 hour 11 minutes; recovered 190 feet slightly slight-ly gas-cut drilling fluid. Drill stem test No. 3, 5670-5701 feet, tool open 2 hours, shut-in 30 minutes;, recovered 150 feet slightly water-cut water-cut and gas-cut drilling fluid. Drill stem test No. 4, 5929-5961 feet, tool open 2 hours, shut-in 30 minutes, weak initial blow, decreasing de-creasing to dead in 2 hours; recovered re-covered 15 feet slightly gae-cut drilling fluid. WHITEROCKS Unit No. 1 (Located (Lo-cated NE NW SE, Sec. 32, 2N, IE) Drill stem test No. 1, 2116,-2177 2116,-2177 feet, tool open 2 hours, shut-in shut-in 30 minutes, good initial blow, decreasing after 30 minutes, dead in 1 hour; recovered 1831 feet gas-cut water, and 55 feet gas-cut gas-cut drilling mud.
