Show Range Society To Meet In Vernal On Aug. 25, 26, 27 Professor Arthur D. Smith, chairman of the Utah Section, American Society of Range Management, Man-agement, today announced the mid-summer meeting of the Section Sec-tion will be held Aug. 25, 26, 27, in Vernal, and on the Ashley National Na-tional Forest, in joint session with the Society of American Foresters, The meetings will open with a banquet in Vernal, Thursday evening, eve-ning, Aug. 25, at which George D. Clyde of the Utah Water and Power Board, will give the principal prin-cipal address. Field observations of range re-seeding, re-seeding, timber operations, and wildlife studies will be made on the Ashley National Forest on Friday Fri-day and Saturday, with the group camping at Deep Creek Campground, Camp-ground, Friday night. Meals on the field trip will be provided by the Society at cost. Frontier Airlines will have planes available for flights over i Echo Park dam site and the Ash- i ley National Forest, Friday morning. morn-ing.
