Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown have been chosen as stake dance director.-:, j Melvin Mower, former ward ! clerk, is the new counselor to the bishop, replacing Mr. i Brown. A. D. Shaw is the new ward clerk, with Mrs. Shaw as i assistant. Mrs. Eff ie Taylor is a new counselor to the Primary president, and Rosalie Brown is ward chorister. A party honoring Pvt. Jimmy Parry was given Thursday night I after the show. Jimmy has returned re-turned to his base in New Jersey. Jer-sey. The large group enjoyed square dancing. Laris Powell celebrated his birthday Sunday with two friends. Dale Campbell and Jerry Jer-ry Parry, at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Blanchard and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Blanchard Blan-chard left this week for a trio through Yellowstone National Park. A party honoring Miss Carolyn Caro-lyn Hunt was given at her home I Friday. Among her guests were 1 Cathy and Karen Mower, Ja-!
