Show I Former Altonah j Girl Is Married I Word has been received of the marriage of Carol Shiner, of Armstead, Montana, to Dale Tayle, of Leadore, Idaho, at the Methodist Church in Salmon, Idaho, on June 26. Carol is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Shiner, former form-er residents of Altonah. 1 Shirley Iorg, of Upalco. and LaRue Rowley, of Salt Lake, were guests of Leo Ames and Garry Jessen recently. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Meldrum, of Salt Lake City, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay a few I days. I Florence Weeks spent some j time recently visiting1 her brother broth-er and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Weeks, in Tooele. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark an4 family, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Murray, Mur-ray, of Murray, spent Sunday visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen made a business trip to Price Saturday. Satur-day. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Thompson Thomp-son and family, of Heber, and Ned Clark visited their parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clark last week. . Ned went to Duchesne Monday to register for the draft. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Carroll and son, Tommy, of Tooele, spent the weekend in Altonah. Eldora Clark is employed at the Clarence Jones resort. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Berrett, of Rangely, Colorado, visited here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield and Peggy Ralphs accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Neil Maxfield, of Price, on a two-day trip to Bonanza Bo-nanza last week. Gayla Timothy returned with them for a visit here with relatives. They also enjoyed a trip to Moon Lake. Ed Davis went to Salt Lake City Saturday for medical car? Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder and family, of Springville, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Snyder and daughter, of Sandpoint. Idaho, and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts and daughters, of Logan, visited their mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and other relatives recently. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fowler went to Heber Sunday to be with Mr. and Mrs. Charley N. Shiner, who are in the hospital for treatment of inquries suffered suf-fered in a car accident. Mr. and Mrs. Chase Watterson also visited vis-ited them on Monday. BIRTHDAY PARTY A group of friends gathered at the home of Ruby Weeks Sun-fday Sun-fday afternoon in honor of her 13th birthday anniversary. They enjoyed a swim in the Jack All-red All-red pond and refreshments we:e served to Cleo Clark. Sally War-die, War-die, Doris Allred, Sherry Fowler, Fowl-er, James Allred, Laura Carroll Coralie Maxfield, Bonnie and Alta Ames, Sharon Berd, Reva Clark. Maxine Turnbow, Sonja Nielson and Carol Case. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hall and son, Donald, of Hill iFeld, spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Taylor of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Katie Davis, of Burley, Idaho, 1 were overnight guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Shiner. Mr. and Mrs. Jennis Oman and family, of Salt Lake City, spent a week recently visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jacobson. A fireside was held at the home of Bishop J. Arthur Timothy Tim-othy Sunday night for all unmarried un-married young folks. |
