Show Stake fvl I A IMs Plans For July 24 Programs Under the direction of the Roosevelt Stake Mutual Improvement Impro-vement Association, a two-day Pioneer Days celebration will be held in the City of Roosevelt, is an announcement made by George Hacking and Mrs. Ivan Payne, stake presidents of the MIA groups. According to Mr. Hacking, who is acting as general chairman, chair-man, the affair will begin at 10 a. m. on the morning of July 24, with a miniature parade, which is being sponsored by the Primary organizations of the stake and wards. Following the parade at 10:30 will be a program pro-gram at the park, and a kids' dance in the stake house. At 11:30, races and sports for all .ages will begin, as will a soft-ball soft-ball game between two girls teams from Ioka and Myton. The final day program is set for 1:15 p. m., when a boys Softball game gets underway. A circus is in town for the afternoon. A night rodeo at the Roosevelt Roose-velt rodeo grounds beginning at 7:30 will climax the day's, activities ac-tivities on July 24 and wiil continue con-tinue again Friday night at the same time. A broad invitation is being' extended people throughout the Basin to come to Roosevelt to celebrate the 24th of July! |
