Show J)cka Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Gentry Home Builder Girls Have Outing The Home Builder groups from the Primary enjoyed an outing on the Lake Fork River Thursday. They had an Early Bird breakfast at 6 a. m.. played games and enjoyed themselves generally. They had lunch at noon and then returned home. Thcee enjoying the outing were Myrtle Faucett, Primary president; Eliza Benson, Dorthy Stone and Arevilla Lemon, teachers; Glenna Dart, Peggy Zorko, Joyce Zobell, EaVette Percival, Loya Lemon, Kay Warr, Regina Reay, Ha Vay Lemon, Elaine Richens, Joan Hardman. Dell Foote and Elwood Foote, of Provo, visited Monday with their brother, Paul Foote, and family. The ward genealogical committee com-mittee held a meeting at the home of Otto Lloyd Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson attended a Weeks reunion at the home of Earl Gardner in Alterra on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Benson and baby, of Roosevelt, wcra guests of Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson Sunday. Howard Jones and Colleen Sherwood were Nephi visitors Friday, Saturday ant. Sunday with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon and family made a business trip to Salt Lake City Monday and returned re-turned the same day. Connie Spencer, small daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Spencer has been very sick for the past week. Florence Percival, who is working in Provo, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Percival. A friend, Chester Lykins. of Indiana, In-diana, who is a student at the B F U, came home with her. Primary workers here attending attend-ing the party for Lela Labrum in Roosevelt Wednesday nighl were Zelma Lloyd, Eliza Benson, Ben-son, Edna Drollinger, Cherrel Drollinger, Bertha Angus, Francis Fran-cis Lloyd and Marie Benson. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote and family made a business trip to Tooele Monday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were Albert Harris, of the Stake High Council, and Reed Hancock, a Roosevelt Stake missionary. Special music included piano solos by Patsy Gines and Karen Gines, of Ballard. Bal-lard. Other visitors at Sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines arid son. Gerry, and Joan Angus and Bee Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Benson visited a few days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson. Ben-son. They were on their way from Davenport, Iowa to Cedat City. Mrs. Moleski, of Salt Lake City, is the guest of her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs Wavne Ames. Mrs. Davis left Thursday for her home in Arimo, Idaho. She had spent the past two weeks with her daughters Mrs. Tuff Reay and Mrs. Dean Washburn. Mrs. Tom Gentry and famUy were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Hurist. Mr. and Mrs. Nels Sorensen, of Monroe, and Mr. and Mrs Wesley Washburn and baby, of Spanish Fork, spent Wednesday with Mrs. Olive Sorensen. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen and Mr and Mrs. Jack Neilsen and children spent Sunday of last week at Paradise Park. Mrs. Tom Gentry and children. chil-dren. Mrs. W. G. Gentry and daughter, Elizabeth, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Devctn Gentry at Myton on Wednesday of iast week. Mr. and Mrs. Arie Cook, of Bluebell spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Cook's mother. Mrs. Bertha Angus. Mrs. Paul Lemon and Mrs. J. B. Lemon, of Vernal, were dinner guests of Mrs. Jane Lloyd Friday. I Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn Wash-burn gave their wedding dance at the Oasis in Myton Wednesday Wednes-day night. Several from Ioka attended the dance. Mrs. J. B. Lemon went to Vernal last week where she was the guest of her son and daughter daugh-ter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon. CORRECTION Mr. and Mrs Earl Hales, of Price, visited Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon and Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd and Mrs. Clayton Webb and children were Sunday visitors in Vernal at the home of M. and Mrs. Paul Lemon. |
