Show Shower Honors Recent Bride A shower was given for Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Secrist, newly-weds, newly-weds, at the home of Mr. Se-crist's Se-crist's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle, on Saturday evening. Present at the festivities were Mr. and Mrs. Max Gardner, Mr. 1 and Mrs. Elmer Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Elton El-ton Kettle and Mrs. Maxine All-red, All-red, in addition to the hosts and Mrs. Elsie Secrist. John Lemon, of Peoa. is a I guest at the home of his daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ercil Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allred and daughter have moved into the John Herr place for the summer months. Glen is working with Russel Todd at present. Bryce White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alden White, is working in Salt Lake City. Miss Dorothy Ellertson, of Salt Lake City, was a visitor at the George Bracken home on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Seeley, of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Mark Rasmussen were visitors vis-itors at Lhe Farrell Rasmussen home over the weekend. . Elton Kettle was called to Vernal last Tuesday to act as a juryman during a session of court. Patsy Gines, Aiton MangUm and Glenna Betts were among the number of M I A girls who went to Orem last week to pick strawberries. Mrs. Merrill Brimhall and small son, of Provo, are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Hullinger. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Jenkins and family have left to make their home in Washington. Mrs. Olie Rasmussen and a group of boys went to Salt Lake last week to witness the Dance Festival during the M I A Conference. Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Jenkins, newlyweds, are living in the Wm. Jenkins home. CHURCH PROGRAM Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Clyde Bartlett, from Tridell; L. E. Clark, from Salt Lake City, i and Mr. Bolton, who owns a ! farm in Ballard. Patsy and Kar- en Gines played a piano duet, ! and Joan Angus, Deanne Asay I and Barbara Hullinger sang a I trio number. I j |
