Show Cleone Robinson Elected flew Auxiliary President Mrs. Cleone Robinson was elected president of the American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary at a soe-cial soe-cial meeting Tuesday night at the American Legion Barracks, with Mrs. Georgianna Costuros named as 1st vice-president; Mrs. Alice Aycock, treasurer; Mrs. Mauna Benson, historian; Mrs. Gertrude Moysh, chaplain; and Mrs. Leah Allred, child welfare chairman. The secretary and serjeant-at-arms will be chosen at a later date by th- president. The executive board consists of Mrs. Bliss Eldredge, Mrs. Norma Bellon and Mrs. Verda Nelson. Mrs. Irma Sutteer. outgoing president, was presented with a past president's: pin by Mrs. Clista Angus. In charge of the program was Mrs. Mary Burgess, Americanism American-ism chairman, who introduced the two essay winners, Joan Crapo, first place, and Barbara Hullinger, second place. Both read their essays and were presented pre-sented with $6 and $4 checks, respectively, as 'their essay prizes, priz-es, by Mrs. Burgess. At the conclusion of the program pro-gram and business meeting, a lovely luncheon was served bv Mrs. Sutteer. |
