Show Jtitonali Mrs. Eihel Beeb Party A Success The missionary farewell party par-ty for Perry Maxfield in the word chapel, Feb. 13, was a success. A large crowd from the stake were present and out-of-town relatives of Perry's were Mr and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, Mr and Mrs. Richens and Bishop Bish-op 'and Mrs. Glen Gilbert, of Myton, and Mr. and Mrs. Charley Char-ley Timothy and family, of Bonanza. Bon-anza. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bird, of Arcadia, visited at the home of Mr and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe, Saturday evening. A group of young people attended at-tended the Uintah Basin Sweetheart Sweet-heart Ball at the Union High School, Saturday night, Feb. 13. Miss Sherral Ames was the candidate chosen to represent the , Altamont school. A NEW SON Mrs. Glade Timothy and new sotl were able to come home from the Roosevelt Hospital, Sunday Mrs. Timothy's mother, Mrs George Berrett, Sr., of Murray, arrived. Saturday to stay with her daughter for a while. Mrs. Jerry Clark was taken to the Roosevelt Hospital Friday Fri-day morning for medical care. Fenton Powell made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake City over the weekend. He accompanied Philo Farnsworth of Altamont. Mrs Madelyn Perkins attended attend-ed a teachers' meeting in Duchesne Du-chesne Saturday. W. B. Stoddard, of Randlett, William and Dick Jessen, of Boneta visited at the Gilbert Beebe Ranch Saturday. Dick purchased a registered Aberdeen Aber-deen Angus bull from Mr. Beebe. Bee-be. Wm E. Clark, Albert Clark, Jerry Clark and Mrs. Ethel Beebe attended the funeral of Charlie Rich in Vernal, Saturday. Satur-day. E. L. Murphy, of Upalco, and Dr. Philo Farnsworth, of Altamont, Alta-mont, were visitors of Sunday School and guest speakers in Sacrament meeting. Mrs. Murphy Mur-phy was also a visitor. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wall and Mrs. Grant Smith, of Roosevelt, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Friday. Chase Watterson, of Provo, spent a few days last week visiting vis-iting friends in Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Winkler, of Todd's Park, arrived Friday to be overnight guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Monsen. They returned re-turned home Saturday. |
