Show Mrs. Elsie Bird Pfc. Hyrum Capson arrived home, Sunday night to spend a ten-day furlough with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Cap-son. Cap-son. Hyrum has been stationed at Fort Ord, Calif., and will report back there. Lynn Fairbanks, of Salt Lake City, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird and also Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Lynn Hansen made a trip, Tuesday, to Spanish Fork, where he purchased a Shetland pony for; his children. Visitors, Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross were Mr. and Mrs. Bud Odle, George Massey, of Vernal; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon McKinlay, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily and Miss Afton Bodily, of Provo. Mrs. Bodily remained for a longer visit with her parents, par-ents, while Gwen and his sister, Afton, returned to Provo to go to school. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen, ana j,ynn koss auenaea a County Planning Board meeting meet-ing at Roosevelt Tuesday., Mrs. Clair Duncan and children, chil-dren, of Neola, visited Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird. Clarine and Douglas Doug-las Duncan spent the weekend with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Mecham and family, of Roosevelt; Loryn Ross and children, of Myton; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Labrum and family, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross. Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert spent a few days in Roosevelt with her daughter, Mrs. Max Mullins. Donna Ross was an overnight guest of Hazel Johnson in Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, Sunday night. Mr. and Mrs. Warden Olsen were dinner guests, Sunday, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Olsen in Neola. Naomi Gilbert came in from Provo to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Jeanne and Tenna Gilbert, of j Roosevelt, are spending a few days with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert, Gil-bert, while their parents are vacationing va-cationing in California. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson in Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk and children, of Myton, and Mrs. Gracia Olsen, of Duchesne, spent an evening with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Steel Lusty, of Tooele, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Lusty. iSfcott Lusty went to Salt Lake, Thursday, to get his wife, who has been receiving medical medi-cal treatment. Miss Mildred Bird attended the wedding of Miss Flora Tanner Tan-ner and Ray Rogers at Myton, Thursday evening. Paul Solmonson, of Pleasant Valley, was an overnight guest of Lamar Ross one night during the week. |
