Show Final Rites For James A. Hamilton James Andrew Hamilton, 55, died at the Roosevelt Hospital Wednesday, Feb. 17th, at 9 a.m. following a heart attack. He was born April 22, 1898, at Nine Mile, near Price, a son of James Alma and Susan Van Wagoner Hamilton. His parents moved to Midview during his childhood and it was there he received his early education. The family moved to Myton in 1922. He married Emma Warr in Bennett, Uintah County, Coun-ty, Jan. 19, 1928 and they made their home here and on a ranch near Myton, where he was employed em-ployed as a government trapper. In 1947 they returned to Myton My-ton as Mr. Hamilton was incapacitated in-capacitated by arthritis and he became self-employed as a leather craftsman. His sunny disposition made him beloved by all who' met him and the children all called him "Uncle Jim." Survivors are his widow, two brothers, Steve and Richard Hamilton, all of Myton; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Hansen and Mrs. Maud Stinson, of Kanosh, Millard County, and Mrs. Tes-sie Tes-sie Lamb, of Salt Lake City. Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Saturday in the Myton L.D.S. ward chapel at 1 p.m. with Bishop Glen Gilbert in charge of the services: Prelude and postlude music was rendered by Mrs. Syerl Dennis. A vocal duet, by the Misses LuDean Anderson and Beverly Anderson, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Dennis, opened the services, followed by invoca- |
