Show Magazine Sales Net 5100 Profit Pupils of the Neola Elementary Elemen-tary School met in their assembly as-sembly last Friday to enjoy the fruits of their combined labors as magazine salesmen. Approximately $100 were earned earn-ed as the school's bonus, which was used as part payment on a projector. The three students selling the largest number of subscriptions were Anna Mitchell, Mitch-ell, Gerald Wilkerson and Gary Horrocks, where were each presented pre-sented awards during the assembly as-sembly period by P-TA president, presi-dent, Jack Leavitt. First prize went to Anna Mitchell, who received a complete com-plete camera outfit, including flash attachment, bulbs, film, etc. Second prize of a hunting knife and hatchet, a camera and a necklace was awarded to Gerald Ger-ald Wilkerson. Gary Horrocks, winner of third place, was presented pre-sented with a pair of binoculars binocu-lars and an ankle bracelet. Visiting at the Deone Spencer home last Sunday were Eva Sprouse and Kay Dean Arnold, who are employed in Salt Lake City, and David Arnold, of Mof fat. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Opp, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Christensen and daughter, of Ogden, spent Sunday at the Nephi Smithson home. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Haslem spent the past week visiting in Salt Lake City and Blanding. Mr. Haslem is on furlough from Ft. Ord, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Allred and daughter, of Salt Lake City, were visitors at the Allen Harrison Har-rison home last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Oluf Duncan and son have returned from a vacation to Arizona. While there they motored down to Tucson, for a brief visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Rhoades, who are spending the winter there. Two teachers were sustained in Sacrament meeting last Sunday Sun-day evening. Leland Peterson accepted a position in Sunday School and Amanda Henrie in the M.I.A. Lawrence Luck returned recently re-cently after spending a few weeks in California. COMMUNITY CLUB The members of the Community Commun-ity Club and their partners were entertained last Friday evening in the Relief Society rooms. A buffet supper was served and the remainder of the time was spent in playing Bingo.
