Show More Scout Honors The Myton Boy Scout Troop No. 253 attended the Court of Honor held Sunday at the Indian Mission at Randlett. The troop of 16 boys, all in uniform, was awarded the Advancement Ribbon for the month of March. Floyd Nielson and Buddy Holgate each received life badges. Merlyn Perry received a star badge. First class badges were presented to Curtis Winn and Kenny Ross.and a 2nd j class badge to Keith Neilson. j Thirty-two badges were awarded to other members of the troop. The parents of. the scouts were much in evidence at the session as 21 parents were on hand to view the ceremony. The troop has been very active and interested in the scout procedure pro-cedure and all are. anxious to continue winning the Advancement Ribbon, so they may receive the award at the end of the year which closes in September. Wilmer Murray is the Scout Master of the Myton troop and deserves much credit for the actfvity of the group. Mr. and Mrs. O. LaMar Nielson went to Salt Lake City Thursday and attended two sessions of the General Primary Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray visited in Salt Lake City Sunday and at Morgan where' they were guests at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Murray and family. ATTEND CONFERENCE Bishop Clark Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Aften Richens and Mr. and Mrs. Holt Wardle were among those who attended the' LDS conference con-ference in Salt Lake City, They returned home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott spent the weekend visiting relatives in Salt Lake City, returning Sunday, acompanied by his mother, Mrs. Bliss Lott, who was a guest during dur-ing the winter months at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tinsley in Los Angeles. Mrs. Homer Robinson returned home Sunday from Salt Lake City where she has been employed during the winter -months. She was accompanied by her son, William Wil-liam Robinson, who spent Sunday and Monday in Myton to help her get settled again in her home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Martin are the happy parents of an infant son, born Saturday, April 7 at the Roosevelt Hospital. Mrs. Edwin C. Hall and young son of Provo were weekend visitors visi-tors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Snyder. |
