Show WlliTEROCKS Madcena Smith Mr. and Mrs. Jess Birtcher of Roosevelt, visited the Paul Robb family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Fernando Elling-ford Elling-ford of Salt Lake, visited the Art Aliens last weekend. Oscar Allen came with them and will remain for a two-weeks visit with his son and family. Little Tommie Ellingford has the mumps this week. Mrs. Blayne Morrill attended the Primary stake officers conference Wednesday' in Salt Lake'. Mr. and Mrs. El.bert Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb attended a farewell party for Lowell D. Long at the Bennett ward chapel Monday Mon-day Mr. Long entered the Mission Home this week. The' MIA took their one-act play to Neola Tuesday for the assembly program. They joined the Neola MIA in classes after the play. JOINT MEETING HELD The Whiterocks and Bennett ward bishoprics and the stake presidency held a meeting at Bennett Ben-nett Tuesday night. Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb attended at-tended conference in Salt Lake over the weekend. A group of men worked on the ward church farm on Farm Creek Saturday, building fence and preparing ground to plant in grain. The Don Simmons family motored mo-tored to Provo, Saturday. Mrs. Elsie Simmons returned home with them, after a two-weeks visit here with her children. They1 bought a used car while there. Speakers at meeting - Sunday were Mrs. Ruel. Edrington, Ercel Johnson and' daughter, Genevieve, home missionaries from Roosevelt. The Doris Morrill family of Tri-dell, Tri-dell, were dinner guests at the Blayne Morrill home, Sunday. Dinner guests at the' Norwood Hardy home Sunday were the H. LeRoy Morrill family and the Ray Haslem family of Tridell. Ward Primary president Mrs. Edith Oberhansly and Mildred and Merle Moosman, Zella Pike' and Madeena Smith motored to Salt Lake, Thursday, to attend Primary conference. Ward officers meeting was held Sunday evening. Ray Allen was in Salt Lake one day this week. Mrs. Lee Wardle visited home folks in Ouray Sunday-. The Wilmer Parrish family of Roosevelt visited with the Elbert Smiths, Sunday. Mrs. Edith Oberhnasly was in Vernal, on business Saturday and Monday. |
