The successful and responsible respon-sible bidder will be required to pay in advance an annual rental rent-al of $1-25 per acre, the cost of advertising and a filing fee of $5 00 for the lease contract consummated. con-summated. In addition to the filing fee of $5.00, an additional fee of 15c per acre will be charged as a processing cost ot making the lease and clerical service attendant thereto. Tne successful bidder will - be required re-quired to deposit such fees before be-fore the lease is drawn. A deposit de-posit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and -20 per cent of the advance ad-vance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent sol-vent bank, payable to the Treasurer Trea-surer of the United States Conditional or alternate bids will not be accepted and no drilling propositions will be considered con-sidered as a part of the bonus offer. The sale will be held and the lease executed in accordance with the Act of March 3 1 9C9 (35 Stat. 781, 783) and C.F.R . Title 25-Indians, Part 189 as amended or supmemented. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture for-feiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs If the Lease is not completed within the required length oi time, it well be subject to revaluation re-valuation of bonus and the sale may be cancelled and deposits forfeited unless for good ano onffifipnt reason an extension of the filing period is granted. The successful bidder will be required requir-ed to secure the signatures of all Indian owners. The lease must be completed and returned, to gether with all supporting pa pers, and the remaining sum due and owing, within 30 day from date of mailing to lessef for execution. An additional per-iod per-iod of time will be granted fo' good and sufficient reason upor request made prior to the ex piration of the original 30-da period. The Superintendent re serves the right, as a conditior precedent to the granting oi any extended period of time for filing a lease, to require the deposit of any remaining sum; due and owing on the lease, including in-cluding the balance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental.
