Show SEASONAL CHATTER By Sugar 'N Spice ARISTOCRATIC little Mrs. Markey stole our eye last week as she wore a becoming black gaberdine suit with white accessories. ac-cessories. Her smart black velvet vel-vet hat accentuated her lovely hair. LOOKING especially smart at the Junior Culture Club tea last week were: saucy Bette Mc Lea. wearing an orchid woolen jersey dress; Joanne Todd with her stunning hair So and wearing wear-ing a grey flannel two-piecer; and Esther Wogec, who was attractive at-tractive in her tweed suit as she sang several numbers. ADDING a masculine touch to the tea were Larry Wilson and Ray Johnston, who entertained enter-tained the guests with their delightful de-lightful music. NEWCOMERS to Roosevelt we visited last week were Colleen Col-leen Mantila, the new dentist's wife, and Joy Anderson, wife of Brown's new bookkeeper. THE ATTRACTIVE new red 'brick home east of Roosevelt belongs to the Lee Harmstons'. The new frame home just sou h of Harmstons is being built by Glen Allred. We axe looking forward to going through both of them. UNION HIGH girls who participated par-ticipated in the Deseret News Seminar for Sallies were Gwen-nita Gwen-nita Curry, Marilyn Brighton, Carolyn Dennis and Evelyn Shaw. According to Lillian they were the cutest girls there. Wish we could have been there to see the production ourselves. |
