Show Mr and Mrs. Elmer Richman and daughter, Mrs. Jay Turner, returned home Tuesday from a (five-day trip to Yellowstone National Na-tional Park. They also visited their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Richman, at Butte, Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Lambert and their five children have returned re-turned to their home in Oak land, California, after visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Lambert. Dr. and Mrs. Paul Stringham will leave Friday to attend the state medical convention at Hotel Ho-tel Utah in Salt Lake City. Congratulations to the Weslev Dickersons, who are the proud parents of a new son. Ralph Kent, born August 20 in the Salt Lake General Hospital. The bundle of joy weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. at birth and arrived home with his mother last Thursday. Mr. Dickerson drove in to get them. Mr. and Mrs. James W. Sum-merall Sum-merall and daughter, Mrs. Del-la Del-la Mortenson, and children are visiting relatives and ' friends in Roosevelt. Their home is in Plusbo, Washington. Mrs. Doug Bryce and sons, Dee and Dick, and Mrs. Lester Mullins and son, Chad, all of Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Harrison, of Grand Junction, were Roosevelt visitors vis-itors last weekend, coming to attend the wedding of their sister, Miss Carol Bellon. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Grant, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at the George Hacking home. Pvt. Arden Sullivan left for his camp at Ft. Huachuca, Ari; zona, after spending a furlough here with his wife and parents Mrs. Sullivan accompanied him as far as Salt Lake City. Recent newcomers to Roosevelt Roose-velt are Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson and son, who have moved here from Springville. He is employed at Brown's Equipment. The Elmer Yergensen family, of Myton, returned Monday from a vacation trip to Sigurd and Monroe, where they visited with relatives Mrs. Yergen-sen's Yergen-sen's father, A. F. Borg, at Sigurd, Sig-urd, and Mr. Yexgensen's mother, moth-er, Carolina Yergensen, and his brother, Leon Yergensen, at Monroe. Shortly after they returnea home their son, Michael, became ill and had to be taken to the Roosevelt Hospital. Houseguests at the Earl Dill man home last weekend were Mrs. Dillman's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Brixen, of Sail Lake City. Mr. Dillman's parent's, the Ray E. Dillmans of Denver, are expected this weekend. Mrs. Randall Stewart and children left last Saturday to make their home in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Sam Page is in Ogden with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Page, who are the proud parents of a new arrival. Visiting with George Taylor and his mother, Mrs. Elon Taylor, Tay-lor, over the Labor Day weekend week-end were Mr. and Mrs. Claude Empey and son, Jay, of Price. They all enjoyed dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Taylor in Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harri son and children, Bob and Nancy, Nan-cy, accompanied by the Wayne Malins, enjoyed the Labor Day weekend at their cabin in Uinta Uin-ta Canyon. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Far-rell Far-rell Wilkins Monday night were Mr. and Mrs. Archie Palmer, of Richland, Washington. They are pionqers of the Basin. Mrs Palmer is the former Fritz Serais, Ser-ais, of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Hatch and family, of California, called at the Alva Snow home last Friday for a brief visit. They are former residents of Alterra. where Mr. Hatch was school principal. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Johnson and their two daughters, of Pierre, Pi-erre, South Dakota, arrived Monday, Sept. 1, for a visit with relatives and friends in Ft. Duchesne and Randlett. As former residents of the Basin, Mr. Wilson was employed at the Uintah and Ouray Indian In-dian Agency as 1 1 M clerk. At present he is property clerk at the Pierre Indian School in South Dakota. Among local residents enjoy ing the relaxing atmosphere of their cabins in Uinta Canyon last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge and family, the Clem Labrums and Johnnie Cooks. The Bennie Schmietts also took advantage of the double holiday at their cabin. Bob Timothy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Timothy, is home o i leave before being shipped over seas. He will leave Sept. 8 t: report for assignment. Wm. H. Ruppel and Mrs. Irene Fretwell drove to Mt. Pleasant Sunday to take the Ruppel boys, John and Dick, to resume their studies at Wasatch Academy. Also returning to Wasatch Academy were Glenn Bair, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vean Bair, Jean Fields, daughter of Mrs! Grant Fields, Roosevelt; Jim and Sally Shuckers, of Myton; i Wayne Faulkner and Jimmy Sutteer. of Fort Duchesne. Spending the Labor D?y weekend in Salt Lake City were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ed-, wards and Ella Roberts. The George Bacons drove to Salt Lake City on Sept. 4 to: meet their son, Jack, who is enjoying a furlough from military mili-tary service. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron drove to Salt Lake City Wednesday Wednes-day to take their daughter, Mrs. Ted (Margaret) Tusler. and her two sons, to catch their train on their homeward journey to, Pasadena, California.
