Show By Mrs. Zilpha Wall 4-&3 Club Ends Summer Program The 4-H Club climaxed its summer activity Monday. Club was held at the home of Leah Chandler, leader. The girls have enjoyed their work very much. Stanley Woodard, of Vernal, visited Tuesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Jensen. Stake preparation meeting for Primary officers and tsachers was held at Roosevelt on Saturday. Sat-urday. Randlett Ward is proud to boast 100 per cent attendance. atten-dance. The Relief Society work meeting on Tuesday of last week was spent cleaning the Relief Society room. The walls, floors, windows and curtains were cleaned. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and family visited Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Jensen, of Vernal. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wahl-quist Wahl-quist and Clayton left Monday on a trip to Washington. They hope to find a satisfactory farm to buy. Mrs. Jenny McMullin spent Saturday visiting her mother in Roosevelt. Mrs. Hannar Harris returned home Monday after spending a week in Roosevelt visiting Mr. and Mrs. Glen Allred and family.- . Mrs. Ray McKee and son, Craig, returned home Saturday-after Saturday-after spending two weeks in Vernal with her husband's folks. Morton Chandler, . who has been employed by the State ! Road Commission, is now spending spend-ing a few weeks, on the farm to help harvest crops. He will re-. i turn to his work on Sept. 8. I Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Colton, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Colton, of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Chandler, of Myton, spent Saturday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dudley. Mr. and Mrs. James Coston and Jessie Pickup left Saturday for Van Nuys, California, to move the Coston's furniture here. They returned home on Wednesday. Mrs. Ethel Young and family visited in Randlett Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jean Sowers, of San Coston, California, , have been visiting at . the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Young for the past week. Albert Harris, who had an appendicitis operation last week is now in Salt Lake receiving treatment for a serious poisoning poison-ing throughout his body. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Brough are takjing care of the children while Mrs. Harris stays . in Salt Lake to be near him. Mr. and Mrs. Garr Brough spent the weekend visiting relatives rel-atives here. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family spent the Labor Day weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Jensen. ' ' James Bacon was guest speaker in Sunday School on Sunday. - Mrs. Jessie Pickup and Marian Mar-ian Taylor took the Bee Hive girls of the Randlett Ward, and some girls from Leota on a trip in Uinta Canyon recently. They were gone three days. They enjoyed en-joyed fishing and an all around good time. Mrs. Richard O'Neil and children chil-dren spent three days last week visiting relatives here. |
