Show MVic4aHorocks Home Shower Honors Couple A shower was given recent'.y at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Olif Duncan honoring their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. ajid Mrs. Wendell Duncan, of Salt Lake City, recent newlyweds. Mr. and Mrs. Jepperson. of Salt Lake, were among those in attendance. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Bastian are vacationing in Denver. Colorado,' Col-orado,' as are Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Bastian and children. Mrs.. Donald (Minola) Lans celebrated her birthday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Horrocks. An angel food cake and fried chicken with all the trimmings was the treat. Members of the immediate immed-iate family attended. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen had a get-together party in Uinta Canyon Friday. They were celebrating' the home coming of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen, of Hungry Horse, Montana. Mon-tana. Others who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and girls, Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle and children. Mrs. Martena Jen-sen, Jen-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jensen Jen-sen and children, and Mr. Kup-kee, Kup-kee, of St. Louis. Bishop and Mrs. Lazell Hen-rie Hen-rie and wife have been vacationing vaca-tioning in California. Garry and Bobbie Peterson, of. Salt Lake are visiting at the home of their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. James O. Peterson. Peter-son. , Geneva Larsen is working at the Indian Curio Shop in Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Ira Pace is visiting in Salt Lake City with his daughters. Mr. arid Mrs. Wendall Duncan Dun-can are visiting with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Olif Duncan. Dun-can. ' Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Prescott and their two sons are visiting with Mrs. Prescott's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Simmons, of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Prescott Pres-cott and Jav spent their two week vacations visiting with their daughter, Audrey, at Blue Lake, California; with their son, Vance, in Idaho, and with another an-other daughter, Zelda, in Og-den. Og-den. Lawrence Mitchell brought his mother home this week, after af-ter she had spent a few weeks in Tooele. Among those who attended the funeral services for Jacob Gagosian were John T. Wood bury, Mrs. Iris Crosly. Mrs. Lail Wilkensen, Mrs. Beth Gre-gerson, Gre-gerson, Evan Woodbury, all of St. George; Mrs. Viola Kelsey of New Harmony; Mr. and Mrs. Gail Heaton and family, of Al-son; Al-son; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cham-berlin Cham-berlin and family, of Provo. Mrs. Christy Leavitt has left for a few week's visit with her son in Kamas and with her daughter in Salt Lake City. ' It is reported that Melvin Bingham, of Park City, has polio.- His wife is Glenda Hal-verson. Jennie Lee, of Provo. is visiting vis-iting with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Duncan. Two local babies were born last week, a girl to Mr. and Mrs. Clair Mills, making them two little girls, and a son to Mr. and Mrs. John Larsen. giving giv-ing them a family of two boys and two girls. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Peterson, who have been employed in Salt Lake City the past few months, have returned to Neola and arc staying with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman . Petersoi.. Dick is again working in the oil fields. Lyle Morrell, of California Jiusband of Desiree Spencer, came home on a short leave to spend a few hours with his wife. |
