Show Eagles' Loss To Alterra Gives Top Spoi To Rough Riders and Utcs; Important Games On Tap For Week-End i A greatly improved and inspired in-spired Spartan1 team from Alterra Al-terra just about removed Duchesne Du-chesne high as contenders for the Uintah Basin basketball title ti-tle last Friday night, as they handed the Eagles a 39-36 defeat, de-feat, their third for the season, on the Spartan floor. The Eagles' Ea-gles' defeat and a win for Roosevelt Roos-evelt over Altamont, while Uintah Uin-tah was downing Tabiona. left the Rough Riders and the Utes tied as contenders for the title won by Roosevelt last year.
