Show ' Mr. and Mrs. Randall Slew-art Slew-art and Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert Gil-bert returned Monday night after af-ter spending nearly two weeks j vacationing in southern California. Cali-fornia. They attended the West- j em Stores convention in Long ; Beach. Boyd Neilson, stationed with the army at Fort Riley, Kansas, is spending a 10-day furlough with his wife, the former Twil-la Twil-la Simmons, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R L. Neilson. Mrs. John B. Gale and infant son accompanied Donald Laris to Helper Wednesday morning-. I Mrs. Gale will spend a few days visiting with friends and relatives rela-tives before returning to Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Ferron returned Tuesday from a 3-week vacation trip to California, where they visited their daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tusler, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Sullivan, of Salt Lake City, spent the week-end visiting with Mrs. Sullivan's Sul-livan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Angus. JoAnn Roberts, student nurse at the St. Marks hospital, Salt Lake City, visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Redmond, Red-mond, over the week-end, returning re-turning to Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Ruth Wills and JaNee Benson Ben-son and their two friends from the BYU were guests of Miss Wills parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Wills, over the week-end. Also home from the B.Y.U. were Renae Gilbert and Renee La-brum. La-brum. Dr. Harry Berman, eye, ear and nose specialist, will be at I the Hanson Hotel, Roosevelt, I Saturday, March 2, from 8:30 a. m. to 3:30 p. m. (Adv). Lynn Walker and a friend from Nephi, spent the week-end with Lynn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Walker. ' Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hancock and family left this week for Salt Lake City, where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. M. D. McClellan and family have moved to Sandy. San-dy. They have sold their home to Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squires, of Magna. The Squires will move into their newly purchased home next week. Mrs. Lynn Labrum, Mrs. Alice Labrum and Mrs. Dick Adams visited Friday in Bluebell Blue-bell with Mrs. Keith Lambert. Mrs. Lorin Alexander left this week for Denver to visit her son. Jack, stationed there with the Army Air Force. " Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Allen, of Pleasant Valley are home after vacationing in Rexberg and Idaho Falls, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Labrum and sons, Ricky and Mike, returned re-turned Wednesday from a visit in Phoenix with friends and relatives. rel-atives. Attending the Utah State Press convention in Salt Lake City last week-end were Mr and Mrs. Cliff Memmott and Mr' and Mrs. Phillip Pack They were accompanied by Mrs. Irene Fretwell and Carol Memmott. Alva Snow and Evan Olsen ol the Snow Machinery Co attended a meeting in Salt Lake City last week for all Dearborn dealers of the intermountain territory. They report a very informative session, receiving many pointers and information from the sales training course prepared by the Dearborn Motors Mo-tors corporation.. Mrs. Lillian Wilkerson, of Ne-ola. Ne-ola. first grade teacher at the I Roosevelt elementary school, was called to Salt Lake City ' this week due to the illness of her husband, who underwent an appendectomy in a Salt Lake hospital. Mrs. Geneva Johnson left Wednesday night for Denver to work in the LDS Mission home with President and Mrs. Ray Dillman. Senator and Mrs. Clair Ash-ton Ash-ton enjoyed the week-end in Roosevelt, returning to Salt Lake City Monday, where Mr. Ashton resumed his legislative duties. Tom White spent a few days in the Salt Lake L.D.S. hospital, being released this week. He plans to return for further treatment treat-ment in two weeks. He was accompanied ac-companied to Salt Lake last Thursday, Feb. 15. by Dr. Paul Stringham and Wayne Malin. Mr.- and Mrs. Bud Davis,' of Wellington, spent the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson, of Roosevelt. Mrs. Joe Roybal, of Lemay, Utah, visited Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Arnold over the week-end. Mrs. Roybal is the former Mar-lene Mar-lene Arnold.
