Show anc(lett Viola Jensen Learn Upholstery From Home Agent The home demonstration ag-' ent conducted an upholstery 1 class at the Randlett chapel j starting Monday and lasting un-1 til Friday. Mrs. Nanna Jarman, i Mrs. Hazel Brough and Mrs. Gladys Jarman participated in this class. The school children enjoyed seeing a very fine puppet show Wednesday morning, then in the afternoon they heard an exchange ex-change student talk. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Brough and children, of Roy, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. Brough. Mrs. Vera Bigelow, Mrs. Annie An-nie Warburton and Mrs. Elmer Huber, of Lapoiht. visited Mrs. Elizabeth Nebeker during the week. Mrs. Nebeker has been 111. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen visited vis-ited Thursday with Mr. Jensen's sister, Mrs, Annie Bowden. of Roosevelt. Mrs. Bowden has been 111. Mrs. Sadie Pray and children went to Provo Thursday. Mrs. Pray is going to care for her grandchildren while her daughter daugh-ter visits in Las Vegas, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler Chand-ler left for Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day morning. Mrs. Chandler went in for medical care. Visitors at Sunday school were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brim-hall. Brim-hall. Stake visitors were Mrs. Asa Hullinger and Mr. Owens, of Roosevelt. Word was received Feb. 15 of the death of Mrs. Thelma Wall Young, of San Fernando, Calif. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Randlett chapel. Albert Young and Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Wall. Sr.. arrived Sunday from San Fernando, Calif. Sacrament meeting Sunday evening was under the direction direc-tion of Senior Scout Clyde Jarman. Jar-man. Prayer was by Donald Wall; opening song by the congregation; con-gregation; welcome address by M.I. A. president, Elbert Chandler; Chand-ler; talk on Scout oath, Merril Chandler; a musical selection, Grace Robinson; talk by Nanna Jarman, a Scout mother: talk by Bishop Jarman, a Scout father; musical selection. Melissa Melis-sa Anderson; talk on Democracy, Harld Dudley. Scoutmaster Newel Anderson led the congregation in singing "America the Beautiful" and gave remarks on how Scouting worked. "America" was the closing clos-ing song. Closing prayer was by Dick Robinson. |
