Show Richfield News Man Elected Head Of U S P A Norman Fullenbach. business manager of the Richfield Reaper Reap-er at Richfield, last Saturday was elevated to the presidency of the Utah State Press Assn., at the annual convention of the weekly newspapers of the state held at the Newhouse hotel in Salt Lake City. Feb, 16-18. Mr. Fullenbach succeeds A. N. Rytting, publisher of the Tre-monton Tre-monton Leader, Charles Claybaugh of the Box Elder News and the Brigham City Journal was elected vice-president, vice-president, and Neff Smart, Or-em-Geneva Times, was elected secretary-treasurer. Some 150 delegates from 58 weekly newspapers throughout Utah were attending the three-day three-day annual meet which began Friday in Salt Lake City, Elected to the board of directors di-rectors were Al Epperson. Morgan Mor-gan City News; Roy Gibson. Ne-phi Ne-phi Times and News, and LaVon Cox, Manti Messenger. Holdover Hold-over members include Frank Mountford, the Wasatch Wave, Heber City; A. G. Merkley. of the Beaver Press, and George L. Crowther, of the Salt Lake Times. |
