The successful and responsible bidders for any-least any-least will be required to pay in advance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising ad-vertising and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consummated. Conditional or alternate al-ternate bids will not be accepted accept-ed and no' drilling propositions will be considered as a part of the bonus offer. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and. 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable pay-able to the Treasurer of the United States. The sale will be held and the lease executed in accordance accord-ance with the Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat. 347) and Title 25, C.F.R., Part 186, as amended amend-ed or supplemented. Lease form 5-157 will be used. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Af-fairs. Leases filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution will be subject to revaluation of bonus, if permission per-mission is not granted for an extension of time. Sales will be cancelled and deposits forfeited for-feited at the expiration of the 20-day filing period unless for good and sufficient reason, an extension of the filing period is granted. The Superintendent reserves the right, as a condi tion precedent to the granting of any extended period of time for filing a lease, to require the deposit of any remaining sums due and owing on the lease, including the balance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental. Bids received will be referred re-ferred to the Uintah and Ouray Tribal Business Committee for their recommendation as to acceptance ac-ceptance or rejection before such bids are referred to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs for final action. The right is reserved by the Commissioner to reject any or all bids and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all moneys deposited shall be returned. The lessee must furnish a satisfactory surety bond as required re-quired bv the regulations.- All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope, "Bid on Oil and Gas Lease, Tribal Indian lands, not to be; opened until 2:00 o'clock P.
