Show Loses FingerS In Auto Fan Mrs. Dorothy Brandt, while helping to get their car started on Saturday morning, caught her hand in the fan. Two of her fingers were cut off and perhaps per-haps a third will have to bs amputated. She was rushed to Roosevelt for treatment. The Moffatt Ward celebrated its annual Relief Society party on Monday night, March 17, with a program, games and dancing. Refreshments were served to about thirty adults. Neldon Duvall has returned to his home in Gusher after visiting with relatives in Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, TOD Park and Park City. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall were in Vernal last week on business. While there, they visited' vis-ited' Mrs. Duvall's sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Williams, and her nephew and niece who were there from Provo. Mrs. Ellen Dean, from Independence, Inde-pendence, visited Sunday at the Duvall home. Visiting at the Robina Ferguson Fer-guson home over the weekend were her sons and families. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Ferguson and baby son. Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Ferguson and son, Dennis, Heber; Mr. and Mrs. William Ferguson and children, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Ferguson, Provo; two grandsons, sons, Amos and Verlin Gagon, and Miss Thompson, of Arcadia. Alvin Ferguson will be leaving in a few days for Camp Carson. Colorado. He has just returned from a year in Korea. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Duvall Du-vall and children, of Pleasant Grove, spent three days last week with Mr. Duvall's parents. They also visited in Vernal with Mr. Duvall's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Denver Long. Little John Ferguson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Ferguson fell on a broken bottle last week and cut his side quite severely. se-verely. They took him to Roosevelt Roos-evelt for treatment. Several stitches were required to close the wound. Mrs. Frank Brown, of Denver, Den-ver, visited ra few days last week with her cousins, Fred and Lester Schwobe. |
