Show Relief Society Party Observes Birth Of Group Monday evening, March 17, the ward Relief Society women honored the associations birthday birth-day with a ward reunion, banquet, ban-quet, bazaar and dance. About 175 ward members, seated at three long tables, were served a chicken dinner with many additional ad-ditional tasty dishes. After the repast, a ladies trio', composed of Mrs. Johnny Lambert, Mrs. Farrell Mohlman and Mrs. Lynn R. Hansen sang two numbers, and Mona Miles sang a solo. Mrs. Alton Smith-son Smith-son accompanied the three numbers. num-bers. Reliel Society officers in charge of the affair were Mrs. Etta M. Crosby, Mrs. Rosabelle Ames, Mrs. Pearl Case, Mrs Pearl Orr, Mrs. Lola Evans and Mrs. Zella Bennion. George Case was among th-3 young men called to Fort Douglas this week for pre-'u-duction physical examinations. George did not return to the BYU for spring quarter. He expects ex-pects to find work until he is taken into the service. Cloyd Powell and son, Roland, Ro-land, and Mrs. Leroy W. Rust went to Malad, Idaho', on Monday Mon-day of last week to get Mrs. Powell and baby daughter, who had spent three weeks with her sister, Mrs. Harold Jones. The Powells and Mrs. Rust returned to Mt. Emmons Friday. |
