Show all at-4 Ellen Bracken Cpl. S. Butcher To Have Operation On Leg Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Butcher received a telephone call from their son, Cpl. Sanford Butcher, who is stationed at Fort Knox, Ky., that he was going to the HospitaJ Monday, March 17, for an operation on his leg, which was injured about Christmas Christ-mas time. Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill, of Tridell, called Saturday at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Simper. Mr. and Mrs. Wendel Johnson John-son visited in Salt Lake City on March 15 with Mr. ' Johnson's John-son's mother. Mrs. Charles Pearce. Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily and baby, of Salt Lake City, have been recent visitors at the home of Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, Mrs. Bodily's mother. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Smith, both teachers at the Alterra School, went to St. George last week to attend funeral services for one of Mrs. Smith's brothers. Diane Hullinger, a student at the BYU, was home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bingham Bing-ham and family, of Vernal, visited Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bingham. Bing-ham. Wilbur has been doing some cabinet work. Mr. and -Mrs. Max Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle on Sunday, Sun-day, March 16. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Coston went to' Vernal Saturday to consult a doctor about Mr. Cos-ton. Cos-ton. They were accompanied by Kenneth Trujillo, of Roosevlt. Howard Todd, who is a student stu-dent at the Agricultural College, Col-lege, Logan, visited several days last week at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd. He left Sunday to' return to school for the spring quar-tcr. quar-tcr. 1 Mrs. Jesse Hullinger returned from Arizona Saturday, where she had gone with Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Brimhall, of Provo. Mrs. Charles Bingham and son made a trip to Vernal on March 17. After attending to some business, they visited with Mrs. Bingham's sister, Mrs. Le-Roy Le-Roy Taylor. Miss Shanna Bellon, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon, left for Logan during the week to enroll at USAC for the spring quarter. Miss Lorraine Lor-raine Hullinger, who is also a student at the A.C., was a weekend week-end visitor at home. Primary officers and teachers attended the Roosevelt StaK' monthly convention at Roosevelt Roose-velt on Saturday. |
