Show Randlett Viola Jensen Primary Program Given On Tuesday The Avalon Primary presented the following program Friday evening eve-ning at the ward house: two act-tion act-tion songs, by the Beginners and Group One, directed by Lula Dudley; Dud-ley; solo, by Carma Pickup, with Rhea Pickup as accompanist; jokes by Ernest Chandler; piano solo, Dale Harris; song, Shirley Stoddard, Stod-dard, Cherie Brough and Joyce Jensen with Carolyn Stoddard accompanist ac-companist at the piano; reading, Mrs, Alice Wall; song, Merlene and Beverly Marshall; saxophone solo, Pauline Pickup, with Shirley Pickup as accompanist; tap dancing, dan-cing, Pauline Pickup, Donna Land and Peggy Wardle; a skit, Clark Nebeker and Robert Harris; song, Deanna Durfee and Sybile Turner; trumpent solo, Richard Durfee, accompanied at the piano by Carolyn Car-olyn Stoddard. A fish pond was enjoyed. The group square danced and refreshments were sold. All " proceeds pro-ceeds will go to the stake building fund. Mrs. Marian Shelton and son, Duane, spent the week visiting at the home of her parents. Mr, and Mrs. Sheldon Lewis and family were Roosevelt visitors Monday. Stake Relief Society visitors attending at-tending Relief Society, Tuesday, were: Katie Duncan and Eva Hol-man. Hol-man. Literature leader, Hannah Harris, gave the lesson. Betty Jensen and Afton Rogers visited Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Marian Shelton. STAKE OFFICERS VISIT MIA officers and teachers attending at-tending stake Leadership meeting Wednesday evening at Roosevelt were: Leo Jorgensen, Ray War-die, War-die, Marion Taylor, Leah Chand- ler Jean Stoddard, Eugenia Pickup,' Pick-up,' Lori Lee Peay, Hazel Wardle and Viola Jensen. A cancer meeting was held on Wednesday at the ward house. A film was shown and questions answered by a local doctor. The Mia Maids presented a short assembly program Tuesday evening eve-ning on "Beauty Care." Dian Taylor Tay-lor was the reader; also participating partici-pating were Rhea Pickup and Loye Harris. Ward Leadership meeting was held Thursday evening at the ward house. Visitors at the Avalon School Thursday were: Mrs. Jessie Ellers and Maung HIa Sein, an International Interna-tional Farm Exchange student from Burma. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Searle are the proud parents of a baby girl, born May 13, at the Uintah Basin Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Searle are the" proud parents of a baby girl, born May 18 at the Uintah Basin Hospital. Mrs. Searle and new daughter came home Sunday.
