Show Basin Shriners Have Ladies' light At Grill A dinner meeting and ladies night was held at the Frontier Grill Cafe last Saturday evening by the Uintah Basin Shrine Club, chartered by the Utah Grand Lodge and El Kalah Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S. Receiving its charter March 12th, officers for the new Shrine Club include Phillip Martin of Vernal as president; Dr. R. H. Delfield, Vernal, 1st vice-president; J. Harold Reader, Vernal, 2nd vice-president; vice-president; and Robert Ferron, Roosevelt, secretary - treasurer. Purpose of the club is mainly recreational and to promote activity activ-ity to assist the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital. Ted Thomas of Myton acted as emcee for the Saturday dinner and the president, Phillip Martin, welcomed the fifty-nine members and guests in attendance. Vocal selections were sung by Mrs. John Fausett, accompanied by Mrs. Bennie Schmiett. Regular meetings of the group are held the fourth Monday of each month and alternate between Vernal and Roosevelt. |
