Show Birthday Party Mrs. H. C. Cooper entertained Friday afternoon for her small daughter, Kathleen, who celebrated celebrat-ed her fourth birthday anniversary. anniver-sary. Her guests were Judy Jen-son, Jen-son, Carol Jenson, Linda Jenson, Lana Giles, Barry Giles, Debbie Monks, Scott Monks, Shauna Lid-dell, Lid-dell, Anne Liddell, Connie Lamb, Carl Lamb, Mark Dean, Sherrie Dean and "Chipper" Fenn. Mrs. Lynn Dean, Mrs. J. Wesley Jenson, Jen-son, Mrs. Rex Lamb, Mrs. Frank Liddell, Mrs. Ted Monks and Mrs. Jack Giles were on hand to assist as-sist Mrs. Cooper with the games and the afternoon's gaiety. The group enjoyed the delicious lunch served in the late afternoon and presented their young hostess with some lovely gifts. Carl Stephens is recovering from a severe accident, suffered in Vernal Ver-nal early last week, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Curtis, former for-mer Myton residents, spent a few days last week as guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Por-ritt, Por-ritt, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Porritt and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Babcock, sisters and brothers-in-law of Mr. Curtis. PREPARE PROGRAM Mrs. H, C. Cooper and Mrs. James Dalgleish spent Wednesday in Vernal making preparations for the Memorial program for the Department Convention pf the American Legion Auxiliary, to be held in Vernal, June 2, 3, 4. CHURCH SERVICES HELD Rev. Harry Gordon, of Vernal, conducted services in the Presbyterian Presby-terian church, Sunday at 3 p.m. Special music, a vocal duet, was presented by Miss Joyce Lundgren and Miss Dawna Lundgren, of Duchesne, Du-chesne, accompanied by their mother, Mrs. Lundgren. After the services, a social hour was enjoyed en-joyed by the - congregation and Rev. Gordon. Mrs George Funk, Mrs. LaVor Dennis and Mrs. Fred Todd went to Salt Lake City, Friday, where they met Miss Joan Funk, who came from the Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant for dental attention. atten-tion. They returned Joan to her school Saturday, and then visited in Ephraim before returning home late Saturday night. Mrs. Homer Robinson has been enjoying a visit from Mrs. Mary Ramsey, who came from Jamestown, James-town, Kansas recently, called here by the death of her brother, Homer Hom-er Robinson. Mrs. Robinson, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Bliss Lott, took Mrs, Ramsey to Salt Lake City, Saturday, where she will spend a few days with other members mem-bers of the family before returning return-ing to Kansas. SECOND BIRTHDAY Randy Gilbert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Gilbert, celebrated his second birthday anniversary, Tuesday, when a group of his young friends were invited for an afternoon of games, fun and delicious de-licious refreshments. Present were Charlotte Dennis, Irene Dennis, Julie Dennis, Elaine Gilbert, Le-andrew Le-andrew Goodrich and Brent Harrison Har-rison and a few mothers, Mrs. Syerl Dennis, Mrs. Ellen Goodrich, Good-rich, Mrs. Nancy Gilbert and Mrs. Rose Gilbert. The young host received re-ceived many nice gifts from his guests and friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and family drove to Ephraim, Sunday, where they were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zorko and family, fam-ily, who came from Ely, Nevada to enjoy a day's outing with them.
