Show MONT 17 ELL Bettie Mower SEMINARY GRADUATES We had five young people who graduated from Seminary Sunday evening at Roosevelt Stake house. They were: Enid Brown, Rosalie Brown, Dennis Larsen, Lynn Hul-linger Hul-linger and David Hunt. Mr. and Mrs. Jack' Allison and family, from Salt Lake City, were visiting a few days at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Hamb-lin. Hamb-lin. Mr. and Mrs. Les Kerr, from Rock River, Wyoming, were visiting vis-iting relatives and friends here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Crow, of Roosevelt, were visiting their daughter, Mrs, Louis Loranger, on Sunday. A large crowd from Montwel attended the stake quarterly conference con-ference Sunday at Roosevelt. Those from here who attended the services were Bishop and Mrs. James E. Larsen and son, Terry, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Art Brown and daughter, Inez, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hullin-ger Hullin-ger and daughter, Sharon, Nola Nelson, Ina Lee Shaw and Mrs. Dean Hunt. Mr, and Mrs. Wayne Brown were among those to have their Temple work done in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday, May 20. Rosilee, Enid and Inez Brown and Mary Dale Hamblin were participants par-ticipants in the Dance Concert held at Union High School on May 20. Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Wilson, of Roosevelt, were visitors at the Newt Miller home on Sunday. enjoyed dinner with Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell and family and Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lloyd and family, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd being the entertainers as well as cooking cook-ing the dinner. Robert Marchant called on some friends Friday, as he has finished up his business here and will 'now make his home in Sajt Lake City. He was accompanied by his daughter and children, of Roosevelt. Roose-velt. He left Sunday, PINK AND BLUE SHOWER A pink and blue shower was given Wednesday by Mrs. Alfred Lloyd at Roosevelt, honoring Mrs. Doyle Lloyd. Mrs. James Lloyd, Mrs. James Zobell, Mrs. 'Otto Lloyd and Mrs. Arden Drollinger all attended. No meetings were held in the ward, Sunday, so members could attend stake conference in Roosevelt. Mrs. Bud Whitman, of Roosevelt spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Howard Jones. Mr. and Mrs, .Wallace Weeks, of Colorado, called on Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson recently en-route en-route to Salt Lake City to visit relatives. Mr. Weeks is Mrs. Nelson's Nel-son's brother. CLUB MEETS AT ' AUSTIN BROKAW HOME Mrs. Austin Brokaw was hostess hos-tess to her club Thursday, May 19. Those enjoying the afternoon and delicious refreshments were: Mrs. Elmer Yergensen, Mrs. O. A. Dart, Mrs. Olive Sorensen, Mrs, Tom Gentry, Mrs.. Vern Edwards, Mrs. Myrtle Nelson, Mrs. Senor Mortensen and Mrs. Leo Haueter. Club guests were Mrs. Aften Richens and Mrs. Nels Johnson, of Myton, Mrs. Carol Butterworth of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Porter Por-ter of Provo. Mrs. Bertha Angus accompanied accompan-ied her daughter, Mrs, Orie Cook, of Bluebell, to Roosevelt, Saturday Satur-day afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kalus and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry and daughter, Pat, spent Saturday evening eve-ning with Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton. Bud Nunley, of Salt Lake City, was a visitor at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer last week. Mrs. Myrtle Nelson, of Upalco, spent Thursday with Mrs. Senor Mortensen. Mr, and Mrs. Bud Whitmore of Roosevelt, entertained the following follow-ing guests at their home Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn Wash-burn and Ray Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and daughter, Glena, and son, Ralph, visited Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant, Sunday, returning the same day. Attorney and Mrs. B. L. Dart, of Price, were Sunday guests of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs, O. A. Dart. Ray Jones left Monday for Denver, Den-ver, Colo., where he has been called back to his railroad work. |
