Show Ellen Bracken Russell Todd Heads' Rftarch Of Dimes Russell Todd was appointed to lead the March of Dimes in the Ballard precinct. Let us get behind him and support him in this worthy cause. Sgt. Ray Betts, who has been home on a furlough, made a trip to Todd's Park last week to visit at the home of his sister and Drother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Haws. Mrs. Elbert Smith, who was a patient at the Roosevelt hospital, hos-pital, spent a day or two at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Wil-bur Parrish, before returning to her home near Whiterocks. Mrs. Phil Smith, of Roosevelt, a teacher at Alterra, left on th-i bus Thursday evening to take her daughter to Salt Lake City, for medical care. Mrs. Wilson Gutzman, of Ft. Duchesne, taught in her place on Friday. Mrs. S. A. Brighton gave a very interesting lesson on the Book of Mormon at Relief Society So-ciety last Tuesday. Mrs. Minnie Angus gave the teacher's topic in the absence of Mrs. Lila Bingham. R. L. Nielson, from Roosevelt, was a visitor at Ballard Sunday School on Sunday. |
