Show Party Honors Two Who Enter Army A farewell party was held on Saturday night for Loren Goodrich Good-rich and Mclvin Bird, who left January 14th for the service. The following program was given: giv-en: Community singing, trumpet solo. Bob Goodrich; ,piano duet, Twiia and Agnes La.rsen; song, JoAnn Goodrich; reading, Mari-lvn Mari-lvn Goodrich; saxophone solo, Dale Seeley; skit, Marilyn Goodrich Good-rich and Pauline Winkler; remarks, re-marks, Bernard Winkler; piano duet, Marolyn and Carma At-wood; At-wood; reading, Dale Allrtu, and remarks, by the Bishop. The remainder of the even. was spent in dancing. A lare crowi attended. Mrs. Essie Lambert visited in Roosevelt on Monday with her mother, Mrs. Labrum. Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee and son, Ronald, of Bridgeland, visited- on Saturday with relatives. rela-tives. Ronald recently returned from a mission in South Africa. The Relief Society held their meeting at the home of Mrs. Calista Cook on Tuesday. It was the Theology lesson, given by Agnes Larsen. Mrs. Cook has been unable to get out and join in the meetings this winter. Mrs. Lucile Winkler entertained entertain-ed at a birthday party for her son, Chad. The following guest; were present: Jeane Seeley, Jeane Remington, Morris Goodrich, Good-rich, LaRee and Kirk Larsen, Edgar Cook, Shana Lee Winkler and Chad. Bill Larsen took his son, Aul-len, Aul-len, to Price, Tuesday, where Aullen 'is attending school. |
