A neat sum of money was col-lected col-lected for the year's project by auctioning cakes and pies donated do-nated for the purpose by the mothers from Altonah and Mt. Emmons. Auctioneers for the occasion - were Glen Mohlman ' and Pete Wall, who did the job 1 so well that the price of cake I soared to $3.50 and pie lovers had to go as high as $2 50. The money will be used to place ping pong tables in the high school. Mr. ' and Mrs. LeRoy Thacker and Mrs. Thomas Richards furnished fur-nished the music for dancing. A chili supper was served by the Boneta mothers. The meeting was in 'charge of Mr. Evan Ben-nion, Ben-nion, Mrs. Bernard Dastrup and Principal Howard Barron. Mrs. Van Wilkerson returned Saturday from Salt Lake City, where she has been hospitalized for three weeks. Mrs. Wilkerson has been in poor health for a :. couple of months. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Stevenson, of Salt Lake City, are here for . a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard Wall, parents of Mrs. Stevenson. Stev-enson. -Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wall are rejoicing over the birth of n new grandson. Parents of the-. baby are Mr. and Mrs. Arnold (Coileen) Chatwin, of Sahara Village. Word from Glenn Case stated that he was shipped out of Fort Lawton; Washington, Jan. 10th, bound for the Far Eastern Command: Com-mand: Glenn's parents are Mv. and Mrs. Earl Case. Ray was honored at a family dinner, Sunday, given by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers. Attending, in addition to' Ray, the hosts and another son, Fay, were Mr. and Mrs. John Richards and family of Mt. Home; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carrell and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Milan Rogers and family, of Upalco, and Mr. and Mrs. Niel Murray and son, of Myton. , |
