Show Roosevelt Stake Outlines Activities For Ensuing Year; Quarterly Conference Set Feb. 9 and 10 A calendar of activities and schedules of various conferences and conventions to be carried on in the Roosevelt Stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, for the year 1952 has been released by Hollis Hullin-ger, Hullin-ger, president, and his counselors, counsel-ors, Russel Todd and Howard M. Ivory, and clerk John Swenson. The printed calendar, which will be circulated among the ward and stake leaders, also contains con-tains dates of ward conferences, high council assignments for the 12 months, dates of temple excursions ex-cursions and the days the temple will be closed. The first major program now under consideration is the Quarterly Quar-terly stake conference that will be held in Roosevelt on Feb. 9 and 10, with subsequent conference con-ference dates being April 26-27, .August 23-24, and Nov. 8-9. On April 2 and 3 stake Primary conferences will be held throughout through-out the stake with the Sunday School conferences scheduled for April 6. On May 17 Seagul Girls in the various ward Primary Pri-mary organizations will be graduated grad-uated at a stake-wide conference to be held in the Stake House. A genealogical conference is on the program for June 15. Ordinarily Or-dinarily the Uintah Stake combines com-bines with Roosevelt Stake in this activity. On July 17 all ward and stake Primary workers work-ers will meet in their annual stake convention, and on Aug. 6 stake and ward Relief Society officers and teachers will hold their convention. Ward Relief Societies will hold their conferences on Sun-1 Sun-1 ' day. Nov. ' 2 and the stake Sunday Sun-day School convention is set for Nov. 23. As usual Uintah Stake will join with Roosevelt Stake in their Sunday School convention, conven-tion, over which members of the general church board preside. pre-side. Monthly meeting announced by the stake presidency include priesthood and Relief Society on the third Sunday of each month, except June when they convene on the 4th Sunday, at 2 p.m. Quorum meetings are also held on this date. The Sunday Schools meet each quarter in their Union Un-ion meetings, with the date being be-ing the second Sunday in the first month of the quarter, and the M.l.A. meeting on the thi-d Wednesday of the first month in each quarter. Primary officers and teachers have their Union meeting quarterly and is set for the last Saturday of the first month. All these meetings are to be held at the Stake House. The calendar lists Stake Welfare Wel-fare meetings for the second Saturday of Jan., March, July, Sept., and Nov. and the second Saturday of alternate months is set for the stake committee. All meetings are at 7:30 p.m. On the second Wednesday of each i month all Melchizedek priest hood pesidencies and the high council meet with the stake presidency at 7:30, with stake auxiliary officers meeting on the first Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Stake board of education meets on the third Wednesday and the presidency and high council on the fourth Wednesday.
