Show Weca Mrs. Melba Eksund 10th Birthday I Brings A Party Elaine Smithson was honored Ion her 10th birthday on Jan. 7th with ' a party at her home. Those present were Elaine Duncan. Dun-can. ArVella Eksund, Roxane Gardner, Edna Eskelson. Mona Allred, Edna Mitchell. Thelma 1 Mitchell, Linda Peterson, Shar-I Shar-I en Keele, Glen Gardner, Qlen-i Qlen-i don Malnar, Claude Crozier, j Laron Alleri, Stanley Wardle Larry LaRose,- Danny and Ron-ny Ron-ny Larsen and Judy Bastain. Many games were played and refreshments served to all. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Crozier spent Sunday in Whiterocks with Mrs. Crozier's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith. Max Horrocks. of Salt Lake City, visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Theron Horrocks, during the past week.. Mutual- Conference was he'd here Tuesday evening, with the sustaining Stake and Ward officers. of-ficers. There was a very good representation from the Stake. Mr., and Mrs. Wayne Bastain are the proud parents-of a baby girl, born last Sunday at the Roosevelt hospital. This makes two girls for the Bastains. The smallest son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yack, after returning from the' Roosevelt hospital, where he was treated for .the flu, had the misfortune of -, falling fall-ing in a bucket of scalding water and burning himself quite badly. Mr. and Mrs. Art Mitchell, of Park City, were weekend guests at the"-home of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Halverson-.' , Miss Shirley Mecham, of Wyoming, Wy-oming, -.'spent a few days in Neola with her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Whiting. . ' Mr. and Mrs: Ron Eksund and family visited in Vernal one day the past week at the home of Mrs. Golden Hatch" and at the Richard Eksund home. Wa"rd, - Conference was . held Sunday with a large crowd attending at-tending from the Ward and Stake. . .. A large gorup of our Primary workers .attended Union meeting in Roosevelt, Saturday,' Lervell Olsen, who has employment em-ployment at Dugway; spent the weekend here with his wife and children. ' , . Dallas Spencer, who is working work-ing .in Ogden was. home over the' weekend. ' |
