Those who attended the temple tem-ple excursion in Salt Lake this week were Mrs. Lazelle Henrie, Mrs Eldon Duncan, Mrs. Leland Peterson, Mrs. Wesley Allred, Mr and Mrs. Danny Mitchell, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smithson, Mrs. George Leavitt and Mrs. Katie Duncan. Lonnie Peterson has returned home after a vacation in California. Cal-ifornia. Gene McConkie came home with him to spend an extended ex-tended vacation. Sherene Henrie recently spent a week in Clearfield with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Q. Allred. ' Martha Gualt and Rosalie All-red, All-red, from Kamas, are enjoying an extended visit with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dace Mitchell. Elvin Bastain, Dick Peterson and Ron Duncan, who are working work-ing in Clearfield, spent the week-end in Neola. Funeral services for David Elmer were held here Saturday at 2 p. m. - Pelpss Allred spent the weekend week-end at the home of his sister, Mrs. Farris Henrie. Jim Rhodes and his jockey, Billy Dugdale, left last week for Colorado, where he will eiv ter his horses in the race meet. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoopes and family, of Lapoint, visited Sunday at the Ron Eksund home. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Stevenson spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thad Wilkerson. Thad Wilkerson, who has been working near Coalville, Wyoming, came home for the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Keele, of Tooele, spent several days here last week. Lionel Jensen and his mother went tp Spanish Fork Wednesday Wednes-day to attend funeral services for Thomas Halversgn, Mrs. Jensen's brother, Ray Devine made a business trip to Salt Lake Thursday. Mrs. Abbie Wardle, of Provo, spent Sunday with Mr, and Mrs Tal Wardle. Mr. and Mrs. Burr, nee Clare Mitchell, of Tooele, spent the past 10 days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dace Mitchell. Mr. and Mrs: Melvin Jex, cf Pleasant Grove, made a business trip here Sunday. Mr. Jex is going to summer school at the B.Y.U. Mr. and Mrs. Royal Horrocks have received word that their daughter, Modena, who lives in Vernal, has a new baby son. Mrs. C. N. Kupkey. of St. Louis, Mo , are spending their vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Mitchell made a trip to Salt Lake Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. and Mrs. Dione Spencer and family went to Provo canyon can-yon Friday to attend a Seeley family reunion. |
