Show 4-H Reports BUSY STITCHERS The Busy Stitcher 4-H club met Friday at the home of their leader, Mrs. John Blaine. Project Pro-ject for the meeting was darning darn-ing socks and learning to sew on the sewing machine. Lynne Wilkens and Jackie Neilsbn served refreshments. j TASTY COOKERS The Tasty Cookers held their first meeting June 25 at the home of their leader. Mrs. Al-den Al-den Alexander. Officers elected were Judy 'Hall, president; Joan Alexander, vice-president; Ida Andrews, secretary; Karalyn Roberts, reporter; re-porter; Tamara Roberts, chorister; chor-ister; JoAnn Walker, pianist. Vegetables will be prepared at the next meeting, which will I be held at Mrs. Alexander's home. BOBBIN WINDERS The Bobbin Winders 4-H club of Roosevelt held its regular meeting last Wednesday morning morn-ing at the home of Carol Todd. The girls worked on their projects and held a discussion on how to sew a seam. Nex! meeting will be held at the i home of Rense Eldredge. I NEW 4-H CLUB I A newly organized 4-H club met Tuesday afternoon at the .home of their leader, Mrs. Louis I Jensen. The following officers were elected for the club, which I will meet each Tuesday: presi-! presi-! dent, Connie Stevens: vice president, presi-dent, Neala Schaeffermeyer; sec- retary, Barcy Nickell; reporter i Kay Timothy: song and cheer leader, Mary Ivory. A name for the club has not yet been decided de-cided on. |
