Show Myton Girl At Girls' State Miss Halene Hemphill left Saturday for Logan, where she will be in attendance at Girls' State for the 5th annual session of the program sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Miss Hemphill, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Hemphill, Hemp-hill, is representing Wm. R. Sands Unit No. 5, American Legion Auxiliary,' and will be. one of 152 girls attending Girls State at the Utah State Agricultural Agri-cultural College. Emery Nielson returned Thursday from Salt Lake City where he visited his daughter, Mrs. M. C. Adams, who is confined con-fined to a Salt Lake City hospital. hos-pital. Mrs. Nielson and two grandsons, Terry and Ricki Adams, Ad-ams, went to Salt Lake City Sunday to spend a few days with Mrs. Adams, who has been quite ill for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sims and children arrived Saturday from Sacramento, Calif, to spend a week with Mrs. Sims' grandfather, grand-father, A. M. Todd, and her aunts and uncle, Miss Alice Todd and . Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and family. Their oldest son, Mac, remained in Sacramento. |
