Show Demonstration On Cleaning Given Among' those going to. Mt. Emmons on Wednesday to see the demonstration given by Miss Zelda Johnson, of the U.S.A.C., Logan, on cleaning and pressing press-ing and caring for one's clothing, cloth-ing, were Laura Seeley and her 4-H group, Janet Seeley, Shan-na Shan-na Lee Winkler, Dorthella Murray, Mur-ray, Judy Lambert, Essie Lambert Lam-bert and her 4-H group, Pauline Paul-ine Winkler, Eloyce Atwood, Jo-ann Jo-ann Goodrich, Marolyn Atwood, Agnes Larsen, Lois Goodrich, Marilyn Goodrich, Lucille Winkler Wink-ler and Garda Seeley. The demonstration was well worth the time in helping anyone any-one with their sewing problems. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Peterson and family, of Sandy, visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich. The Peterson family and the Goodrich family accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lambert, of Mt. Emmons Em-mons and Melvin J. Benson, of Ioka, enjoyed an outing Satur- Mrs. Ella Gagon Roberts, or Roosevelt, visited on Wednesday Wednes-day with Mrs. Leslie Goodrich. day at the Dinosaur quarry at Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich Good-rich and family made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Mrs. Ona Rust cared for the store and post office while they were away, Mr. and Mrs. Rae Gagon, of Salt Lake City, visited here Saturday Sat-urday with relatives. Mrs. M. Verona Winkler accompanied ac-companied her daughter, Mrs. Anna Murray, of Myton, to Salt Lake City, to go through the temple. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Benson, of Provo, visited Sunday afternoon with his sister, Mrs. Owen Goodrich and her family. A welfare meeting was held at the ward chapel Sunday evening eve-ning to discuss various problems prob-lems of the ward. Twelve menv ! bers were present. I Mr. and Mrs. Max Clark have I been visiting for the past week I here with Mr. and Mrs. Marian j Barrett. Max is serving in the army and is home on furlough. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wonnacott, of Provo, and Mrs. Mary Mer-rell. Mer-rell. of Salt Lake City, and Miss Venna Gale, of Moses Lake, Washington, spent the weekend week-end here with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler. The Wonna-cotts Wonna-cotts came after their three children who had spent the preceding pre-ceding week at the Winkler-home. |
