Show Tragedy struck a Mt. Emmons farmer, Grant Hanson, about 30, Wednesday afternoon at 4:45 o'clock when his right arm was amputated near the shoulder while baling hay. He was rushed to the Salt Lake L.D.S. hospital, where his condition was reported re-ported today as fairly good. Details of the accident were lacking as the Standard, went to press. However, Dr. R. V. Larson, who attended Mr. Hanson Han-son after he was brought to the Roosevalt hospital, reported his glove caught in the mechanism mechan-ism of the baler, pulling his arm into the machine, cutting it off near the shoulder.
