(Photo by Thome Studios) Popular Young Couple Wed In Temple Rites The Salt Lake City L.D.S. temple was the scene last Thursday, Thurs-day, June 21, of the marriage : of Miss Patricia Leitjen. daugh- j ter of Mrs. Carma Pei:k, of Seattle, Se-attle, Washington, and Wayne Timothy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy, of Roosevelt. The ceremony was performed by Cha.rles R. Jones, with the groom's parents and a sister, Mrs. Duane Hancock, in attendance. attend-ance. Following the temple ceremony cere-mony the newlyweds were honored hon-ored at a wedding breakfast at the Newhouse hotel, Salt Lake City. Besides the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Du-ane Hancock were present. The young couple is enjoying a honeymoon trip to Zion and Bryce canyons and other points of interest in southern Utah. They planned to visit the L.D.S. temples at Manti and St. George j before returning to Roosevelt, whe-e they will make their home. The new Mrs. Timothy has been employed as an x-ray technician tech-nician at the Mason Clinic in Seattle for the past four years. Mr. Timothy has been attending Brigham Young university since I returning1 from an L D.S. mis sion to the Northern States. He will assist his father at the Home Lumber company this summer and resume studies at the B.Y.U. next fall. |
