Show Colleen Blanchard Surprised With Birthday Party I Max Nelson was surprised with a party Monday night in celebration of his birthday anniversary. an-niversary. Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. James Powell, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson and son, Dale, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nelson and Mrs. Violet Carter, of Bingham. Larry Nelson assisted his mother with the serving. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson Thomp-son received word that their son, Phil, was injured recently at Richfield, when a horse fell with him. He is working for Clarence Howes. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Labrum and Mrs. Ella Labrum and Ray, of California, have been visiting friends and relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown last week. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Thompson, of Vernal, visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson. Dee Hall, of Roosevelt, is staying with Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson while his parents are in California. Mr. and Mrs, Irvin Johnson visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Pace, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Day visited vis-ited the Ray Browns last week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Larsen have a new baby girl. Connell Parry was the guest of honor at a party given at the church Wednesday night. About 30 guests enjoyed games, dancing and refreshments. Mrs. Golda Adams and Mrs. Donna Brown have returned after af-ter attending leadership week at the B.Y.U., Provo. Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were Golda Adams, Donna Brown and Dan Pace. Colleen Blanchard has received receiv-ed her diploma from the American Ameri-can school in Chicago with which she has been studying by correspondence for a high school course. |
