Show Delegates Attend State P-TA Two-Day Two-Day Convention Eleven delegates from the Duchesne Du-chesne P-TA Council and local P-TA units attended the state convention held at Logan April 25-26. Those participating in the two-day two-day event included: Supt. Rowan C. Stutz, Duchesne Council 2nd vice-president; Mrs. Howard Roberts, Myton, Council secretary; Mrs. Cliff Memmott, regional director; Mrs. Elmer Yergensen, Council Parent-Teacher magazine chairman and Union High School P-TA president; Venil Johnson, Roosevelt P-TA president; Mrs. Arietta Williams, Elementary supervisor; Mrs. Frieda Phillips, Neola P-TA president; Mrs. Arvil Brown, Neola vice-president; Wil-ford. Wil-ford. Granger, Duchesne P-TA president; pres-ident; Mrs. Arthur Fabrizio, Tab-iona Tab-iona P-TA president; and Mrs. Rhoades, Tabiona. The convention, presided over by the state president, Mae B. Rose, was attended by more than 700 delegates representing the parents and teachers throught the state of Utah. Very inspirational panels and speakers contributed to the great success of the two-day two-day confab. |
