Show Duchesne Slates Conservation Seminar Tomorrow Duchesne City, Friday, April 29, will be host to the fifth annual Conservation Seminar, sponsored by the Duchesne Fish and Game Association. According to Allen Bond, president of the group, activities ac-tivities will begin at 9 a.m. in the courtroom of the courthouse. A full day of activities is plan-ned'by plan-ned'by the sportsmen's group and the general public is invited to attend. at-tend. Following is the agenda as announced by Mr. Bond: 9:00 a.m. Convene, welcome by Allen Bond, president of Duchesne Fish and Game Association. 9:15 "How Utah Regulates Hunting and Fishing," J. Perry Egan, director, Utah State Fish and Game Department. 9:30 "Importance of Fishing and Hunting Laws," E. R. Callister Jr., attorney general. 9:45 "What We Expect to Do," Herbert Smart, secretary, Utah Wildlife. Law forum commences. 12:00 noon Lunch. 1:15 p.m. "New varieties of Fish for Utah," Marion J. Madsen. 1:30 "Utah's Licensing System," Sys-tem," Armand F. Carr, auditor, Utah Fish and Game Department. 2:15 "How to Conduct a Justice Court," Archie D. Buys, justice of the peace, Heber. 2:30 Finish discussion on law forum. 4:00 Adjourn. 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at High School gym Program presented by Lee Kay, public relations division, of Utah State Fish and Game Dept. Out of town visitors are ex- pected from the following departments: depart-ments: Utah State Fish and Game Dept. and Commission, Utah Wildlife Wild-life Federation, Attorney general's office, Utah Land Board, U. S. Forest Service, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Federal Wardens, Game Wardens, County Sheriffs, Precinct Justices, City Marshalls, County Attorneys, members of other Wildlife groups of the state, as well as the general public and newspaper reporters. The law enforcement officers are expected from counties of Daggett, Duchesne, Uintah, Carbon, Car-bon, Wasatch, Summit and Utah. |
