Show Notice To Water Users The following applications have been filed with the State Engineer to appropriate water in Duchesne County, State of Utah, throughout the entire year and all locations from USB&M, unless otherwise designated: 25938 Theron Horrocks, Neola, Ut.; 2 sec.-ft. for irrigation use from two open drains at points and in amounts as follows: (1) S. 128 ft - .75 sec.-ft.; (2) S. 370 ft. - 1.25 sec.-ft., both from NW Cor. SWV4NEV4 Sec. 4, T1S, R1W. The water will be conveyed by open ditch to a point S. 373 ft. and E. 9 ft. from NW Cor. SW4NE4 said Sec. 4, where it will be co-mingled co-mingled and distributed and used from Apr. 1 to Nov. 1 as a supplemental supple-mental supply to irrigate 35 acres in SWV4NEV4 said Sec. 4. 26303 J. Twohy, Whiterocks, Ut.; .1 sec.-ft. for stock-watering use from an Unnamed Spring Area, Ar-ea, trib. to Uintah River at a point N. 724 ft. and W. 899 ft. from S1 Cor. S. 6400'E. 50 ft, S. 2600'W. 180 ft, W. 25 ft. to beg. The water will be collected collect-ed by means of two trenches and used to water 100 cattle and 5 horses and for incidental irrigation irriga-tion purposes. 26304 J. The water will be diverted by means of a headgate and conveyed J200 ft. by ditch to a natural channel and conveyed 800 ft. thereby to a point N. 636 ft. and W. 1392 ft. from S' Cor. said Sec. 17, where it will be redivert-ed redivert-ed and conveyed by ditch 400 ft. and used from Mar. 1 to Nov. 30 to irrigate 55 acres in SSW, NW14SW14 said Sec. 17,, and for incidental stock-watering purposes. 26585 Howard D. Sec. 22, T8S, R17E, SLB&M, which is the center of an impounding dam to be constructed to a height of 10 ft, thereby creating a reservoir reser-voir having capacity of 6 ac.-ft inundating 2 acres in NE4NW4 said Sec. 22. 6 ac.-ft. will be diverted di-verted at a maximum rate of 5 sec.-ft. and will be stored in a reservoir from Dec. 1 to Mar. 31 and released and used, together with 5 sec.-ft. to be diverted" by direct flow, during period from Apr. 1 to Nov. 30, from which it will be conveyed by canal and used as a supplemental supply to irrigate 500 acres in SEVi Sec. 22; S'z Sec. 23; SV2 Sec. 24; Sees. 25, 26, 27, T4S, R1W, USB&M; Sec. 15, T8S, R17E, SLB&M, and for year-round incidental stock-watering stock-watering purposes. 26586 Howard D. Mecham, 6585 South 267 West. Murray, Ut; 3 sec.-ft. for irrigation use from a 7-in. well bet. 100 and 250 ft. deep at a point S. 800 ft. and E. 50 ft. from W'4 Cor. Sec. 24, T2S, R2W. The water will be used from Mar. 15 to Oct. 15 to irrigate 160 acres in NSW, N'2SEi4 said Sec. 24. Protests resisting the granting of any of the foregoing applications, applica-tions, with reasons therefor, must be in affidavit form, with extra copy, and filed with the State Engineer, En-gineer, 403 State Capitol, Salt Lake City 1, Utah, on or before May 28, 1955.
