Show Farewell Events Honor The Howard Harrisons Among social events during the past week was the host of parties given in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison, who will leave next Saturday to make their home in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dillman were hosts Wednesday night of last week at a beautifully appointed dinner party honoring the Harrisons, Harris-ons, with Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Schmiett and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin as additional guests. Another farewell party complimenting compli-menting Mr. and Mrs. Harrison was held Saturday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Malin, Ma-lin, where a delicious buffet supper sup-per was served. Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Schmiett were -co-hosts. A clever "Bon Voyage" miniature boat with the sail masts inscribed with numerous good will signs, was presented to the honored couple. Comprising the guest list were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Rup-pel, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Harmston, Dr. and Mrs. Paul G. Stringham, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dill-han, Dill-han, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Huish and the honored guests. The Harrison family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Ruppel, Jr., Sunday afternoon. Several other goingaway functions func-tions are being planned this week. |
