Show Bridal Shower Mrs. Melvin Bingham, Mrs. Von Haslem and Mrs. Lawrence Brighton Bright-on entertained at a bridal shower for Mrs. Frank Bingham at the Haslem home, Thursday afternoon. Eighteen ladies were present. The afternoon was spent in playing games. The bride received some very lovely gifts. After the opening open-ing of gifts refreshments were served. Mrs. Leland Angus and daughter, daugh-ter, JoAnn, spent several days in Salt Lake City last week, while JoAnn was receiving medical care. Mrs. LaBerle Gutzman taught school for Mrs. Hilda Faulkner on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bingham and family, of Neola, Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Brighton and family, Mrs. Keith Snyder and family of Alton-ah Alton-ah and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bingham Bing-ham were visitors at the Charles Bingham home one day last week. Mrs. Irene Roberts, of Elmonte, Calif., has been visiting her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Ross. Other visitors at the Ross home on Saturday night was another daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Tanner, or Artesia. Mr. and Mrs. Les Mullins, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end with Mrs. Mullin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Bellon. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Mrs. Vionne Parrish, Mrs. Lila Bingham and Mrs. Ellen Bracken. Mrs. Eunice Cook sang a solo, accompanied by Miss Barbara Hullinger. Bishop and Mrs. Golden Collins went to Salt Lake City on Saturday. Satur-day. They spent Sunday in Ogden visiting their son, Boyd, and daughter, Gay. They were accompanied accom-panied to Salt Lake City by Mrs. Ernest Betts. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Mecham and family are living in Maine now, where Mr. Mecham is stationed sta-tioned with the armed forces. Mrs. Mecham was the former Ra-mona Ra-mona Hatch. Mrs. Ole Rasmussen entertained a group of boys in honor of Max's birthday on Saturday afternoon at her home. The time was spent in playing games and enjoying refreshments. |
